Pastor Rick came to us in 2016 from First Baptist Church, Durham, NC where he served as one of the pastors there for almost 6 years after serving previously in two other churches. With over 30 years of pastoral experience, we are thrilled the Lord has sent him our way. Nancy and Rick have been married for over 40 years, having known each other since the age of 12. They both are warm and outgoing and bring a youthful energy along with a seasoned wisdom to the church. Currently residing in Sebastian, they love calling Florida home. They have 3 adult children who live in NC and SC.
Rick’s ministry is one strongly committed to expositional preaching with a focus on declaring, displaying and delighting in the Glory of God as we disciple men and women to spread that delight to all nations. Every week, he seeks to bring the authoritative Word of God to bear upon daily life as we seek to do life in community. God’s Word is not only powerful in life, but is a rich guide in helping us to worship Him more enthusiastically and walk with Him more faithfully. In fact, Peter tells us that God has “given us everything we need for life and godliness” right there in His Word. If clear, life-relevant preaching and a warm, loving people committed to doing life in community is what you are looking for, please consider this your invitation to join us Sundays at 10:30 AM or for Bible Study and Prayer Wednesday evenings at 6:45 PM. You can contact Rick at 2pastorrick@gmail.com.
